Famed Noma has bred a wealth of talented chefs, who’ve broken away to set up their own ventures. If you can’t get into Noma itself, don’t despair, you’ve got a range of other hot young spots to choose from and brag about afterwards, each with a slightly different take on what makes food special. One piece of advice: whatever you do, order the tasting menu.

Bror is a step away from SP34 and an unpretentious place with the friendliest staff all set to teach you about the delicacies you’re presented with.

Amass is a littler harder around the edges, located at the end of an industrial estate in the least likely location for one of the city’s hottest restaurants. But once you get over the cavernous industrial space and into the food, you’ll feel right at home. And be sure to step outside on to the terrace to see the view over the harbour at night.
